We finally took delivery of Pon Tiki on Friday afternoon! The walkthrough was informative and everything was in good shape. We hooked her up and drove 38 miles back home, just as it began to rain and get dark. We backed it into the ‘boat port’ with no problems and toasted to our new adventures ahead. Several folks commented on how tall the ‘Boat Port’ is, but as you can tell, with the canopy up, it is just right. This will allow us to have the canopy up to dry out after rainy afternoons on the water,
The vehicle pulled the boat well and there were no issues at all. We have rain forecasted for a few days, so we are using that time to wire up some docking lights, a depth finder, and a trolling motor. We also hooked up Vessel View Mobile to the Mercury engine to begin keeping track of engine hours and performance data.
